Reflex for 2010
Last year saw the official launch of the new Reflex Enterprise v9.0
software suite, our latest product offering build completely on the
new Microsoft DotNet framework utilizing full 64 bit architechture.
Though we introduced a number of the new DotNet modules to clients
over the first three quarters of that year, it was only in October
that we had a first major implementation of the software with Comco Pipe and Supply. Comco is using all of the new v9.0 DotNet applications in a 100% 64-bit network across Canada with over 120 connected users. We are exstatic knowing that we have created a mid tier enterprise system that not only meets but surpasses the requirements and expectations of the most critical Finance, Audit, and IT professionals.
That was a brief look back over this past year. Q2 of this year sees Reflex
finalizing code and completing the QA/Testing process on our version
10.0 release. While the journey getting to v10.0 has been long and
hard, it has been very fruitful. We have used our time and resources
well to extensively build out and improve all the PATI process
assistants and support documentation, refine our conversion and implementation processes, establish even more key system controls and audit points that will benefit both large and small companies alike. We have established a better profiling process to assist in moving our clients from their existing environment to the new .NET / 64-bit environment and have introduced a Customer Care Center web portal allowing customers to submit/track issues and interact directly with the Reflex team while all the time monitoring ticket statuses and progress. We are very excited for what we will be delivering to you this year and you will be too!
The one thing that we have learned through this long and involved process is that we are “doing it right”. When we first introduced our new Reflex Enterprise DotNet product we adopted the new tag line “
the power of
one", as
one vision,
one solution,
provided by
one company.
To hold true to this promise, we needed to build a single product that would address the integrated requirements of the various vertical markets served.
The only way to achieve this objective of providing
one
solution from
one company,
was to start with standard and consistent technology to create the core product and work outwards. Most software companies – large and small, that we compete against are still wrestling with 10 – 20 year old products and trying to integrate or bolt on some of the new technologies or new modules written by different software vendors. This approach creates inconsistencies in every area and invariably leave the client with the task of making it all work while trying to maintain some level of control and audibility. Holding on to the past is the number one inhibitor of achieving the objective of full system integration. If Reflex had adopted this approach we would have got to the finish line faster … but then what we would be offering as a product would be no better or worse than the rest of the pack!
But we are not the rest of the pack and we are here to show you a completely different type of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) product. One that is built, top to bottom, with the newest and most versitile offering from Microsoft; the DotNet framework operating on a full 64 bit environment. One fully integrated complete enterprise system providing you more than you can imagine. You truly have to see it to believe it and we can't wait to show you.
